Springtime Flower Card with Noir Pens

My first attempt with Noir markers.  So much fun combining colors and creating different textures to your designs.  Oh the possibilities!
Sister Sheryl creates such beautiful cards with scrap papers.  Here is my attempt.

To create decorative edges I used a Fiskars boarder punch and glued each piece to the top and bottom of a  1 1/2” strip of scrap paper.  Attach this piece to the card base.  Next I stamped both flowers on white card stock, colored with Noir pens and backed with coordinating red and green  scrap cardstock.  Attach the flower pieces to the card base.  Looks like Spring to me.
The Noir markers I used were reds, greens and yellows.  I used 40 and 50% Jo-Ann coupons over time to purchase all 12 sets of pens.  The storage bins I purchased at Michaels (with coupon of course) for $5.00.

 Noir Packaging

Note:  If you trim around the Noir plastic cover packages they come, it keeps the pens organized by each color set in the storage bin.  Works great!
